Simple Past Time Clauses by Mow

Words that can start a time clause:
  1. After
  2. Before
  3. Until
  4. As soon as
  5. While
  6. When

Rules: Sometimes sentences have a comma because it starts with a time clause.
                    Both verbs are in past tense
* Example:
  1. I stopped working after my car broke down.
  2. As soon as I finished eating dinner, I went to bed.
  3. I watched TV until my eyes watered up.
  4. Before I answer my phone I have to see the caller ID.
  5. My suppervisor called me while I was on my trip to Illinois.
  6. When I get my GED I want to be a Border Patrol Agent or BPA.
